Manic Monday #9

Manic Monday is a weekly meme hosted by Turn The Page where we get to decide who the
next Indie/Self-Published author featured will be.

So before we get to this weeks Manic Monday Feature, I must tell you all that as of now (and not permanently) I am limiting my Manic Monday's to the first Monday of every month. At this point, with my really really hectic work schedule, my own writing, and all the books I am reviewing - the weekly Manic Monday is getting to be too much. I am just not finding the time to read each of the featured books in the week it wins and I want to be fair to those requesting my review.  Once my work schedule settles down a bit and I am closer to finishing Winter Solstice: Book #2 of The Harvest Series I will resume my weekly Manic Monday features.  I will still be reviewing Invisible and this weeks winner as well, before I switch to the monthly feature. Thanks for hanging in there and supporting TTP!

The chosen Indie/Self-Published Author for
Manic Monday Week #9 is:

Glimpse - Stacey Wallace Benefiel

Congratulations Stacey!!

Review Coming Soon!

Manic Monday #8

Manic Monday is a weekly meme hosted by Turn The Page where we get to decide who the
next Indie/Self-Published author featured will be

Lets see, I worked a ton this past week and today is a relatively quiet day for me so far. I do; however, have to work an overnight shift tonight so I am sure this is simply the quiet before the storm, as usual. I suppose I will have to wait and see. On a better note, I have some exciting news to share with you all... Turn The Page has been nominated for the Leibster Award by the wonderfully sweet Mindy Larson! Thanks Mindy. So, we will be graciously accepting this nomination and I will be getting putting up a post specifically for this great honor. It was just too good not to share right away.

And now onto this weeks Manic Monday winner.....

The chosen Indie/Self-Published Author for
Manic Monday Week #8 is:

Cecily Anne Paterson - Invisible

Manic Monday #7

Manic Monday is a weekly meme hosted by Turn The Page where we get to decide who the
next Indie/Self-Published author featured will be

OMG! What a long and exhausting two weeks this has been. After working more than 120 hours, working weird yo-yo shifts, and getting very little sleep, I am FINALLY off for the next two days to relax and catch up on some much needed sleep. I have fallen behind in my reviews and my reading. It has been next to impossible to keep my eyes open long enough this week to get much accomplished. So, hopefully we can get things back on track in the upcoming week...  As f0r this weeks winner:

Manic Monday #5

Manic Monday is a weekly meme hosted by Turn The Page where we get to decide who the
next Indie/Self-Published author featured will be

Today could not be closer to the epitome of a Manic Monday... hence my very late post. It was a long, crazy, hectic kind of day. I went to bed late last night, woke way too early and worked 12 hours preparing for a new store opening. It was rough. Thankfully I had my bloggy friend Angela right there along side me, helping me to get through it. I can only hope that today is not a reflection of the rest of the week, because if it is... I might not make it.  With that said, I will say that Angela and I will be super busy with this new store opening, for the next couple of weeks so please bare with us if we lag at all. Believe me, I would so much rather be reading and blogging that doing what I will be doing.

Congratulations Sandra

Manic Monday #4

Manic Monday is a weekly meme hosted by Turn The Page where we get to decide who the
next Indie/Self-Published author featured will be.

Hmmm... pretty cold for a Monday in the middle of May. I feel like this happens purposely so that we will have something to complain about during Manic Monday! This yo yo weather is just making me bonkers. The weekend wasn't all that great either, if you take the weather into consideration. It was cold and rainy here in northeast Ohio! at least we had mothers day to round it all out. I am not a mother of the human breed, but I am definitely a mother to three furry, four-legged babies who are the center of my universe. Bailey, Madison & Emma treated me to some beautiful flowers and an adorable card, along with some much needed cuddle time. (All of this courtesy of my wonderful husband that is) So, now as we head into another week... another crazy Manic Monday we can only hope that today is not an indication of the rest of the week or I might as well just go back to bed now.

Before we reveal this weeks Manic Monday winner I wanted to announce the two winners of the Emi Lost & Found series:  Anne Talberth & Sarah Vesper

So this week we had no votes for our Manic Monday choices... what a bummer! So instead we drew a winner from the three choices!

The chosen Indie/Self-Published Author for
Manic Monday Week #4 is:

Laurel Peterson - Lindsey's Choice

Congratulations Laurel

Manic Monday #3

Manic Monday is a weekly meme hosted by Turn The Page, where we get to decide who the
next Indie/Self-Published author featured will be!

So here we are again, another Monday. Am I the only one who feels like the weeks are flying? Normally I wouldn't mind this...like say when it was bitter cold outside and the overcast days continued to drag on, one after another. However, Now that we are well into spring and the sun is shining, and everything is in bloom I want it all to slow down. I want spring to take a time out so I can continue to enjoy all the flowers on the trees (Ohioans, how about the dogwoods this year-Whoa!) before they are replaced by green leaves and hotter days. Not that it ever gets really hot here, but spring is just so tantalizing I can't help but want to savor it! As for it being Monday, it is a beautiful day, but I am off to work soon where I will spend my entire day well into the evening and well, that makes it another Manic Monday!

The chosen Indie/Self-Published Author for
Manic Monday Week #2 is:

Manic Monday #2

Manic Monday is a weekly meme hosted by Turn The Page Book Blog, where we get to decide who the next Indie/Self Published author feature will be!

It's Monday again and we all know what that means... Blah. And of course, the weather here in Northeast Ohio clearly hasn't gotten the memo that it's spring, almost May to be exact. While the weather is warming up, the sky outside my window is as dreary as a winter day!

Lets see if we can't brighten things up in here a bit, shall we?

The chosen Indie/Self Published author for
Manic Monday Week #1 is:

Manic Monday #1

In true blogger fashion, I wanted to create a meme that was fitting to my blog. Since my main focus are Indie/self-published authors and since I am such a manic, maniac, maniacal reader, I have therfore decided to host "Manic Monday."

Okay, so Mondays are always such a blah day after I've enjoyed my weekend of relaxing and no doubt reading... I thought I would start posting a list of new Indie books I find (FOR FREE) that I am interested in reading. I will post three books each week on the list and then this is where you will come in:

1. If you've read it, tell us what you thought.
2. I will let you decide which book I read of the three and the other two will be put back in the pile to potentially come back around on another Manic Monday list.
3. Tell me if you've found outstanding Indie books (for FREE or PAID) that you think deserve a spotlight in our Manic Monday.

Please leave your choice in the comment section by Sunday of that week and I will announce the Manic Monday Winner Each Monday with the new list!
